Spinning Tops

I was interested in exploring how we interact with artwork. I developed an installation using 3D animation and EEG technology where the animation was activated based on the individual’s thought processes to explore how we experience art. There is a growing interest in measuring outcomes of art. I wanted audience engagement in an artwork to be active and in the resulting piece, the animation is only activated when the viewer focusses on the work.
